It’s going to be a bit difficult to overcome Mark’s Last writing on week number six but I will try…
I could not describe the amazing and surprise feeling I had when I saw wonderful Steve entering the building that morning, yehaaa I remember saying to myself ‘’ ohhh Steve ¡¡¡¡ ‘’ as I watched him from one of the toilet windows…JA JA
Yes we all gave a very well come to him and this week, which is week number 7 is dedicated to Steve.
Monday and Tuesday
I know it sounds kind of repetitive from other weeks but I must say that yes, we are still working hard on those projects… Apparently Liz has been ordering some kiddie stuff like snow spray and some wooden things which I haven’t really discovered what’s it for yet… She is also preparing herself for a presentation on her Environmental Education, she was brave enough to come with James Miguel (myself) and Towanda to those famous Energy efficiency appointments, we have also discovered that Liz is a real specialist in knocking on peoples doors ¡¡¡¡¡¡
Suddenly I visualized myself carrying heavy metal poles in the rain with my face painted like an Indian and ohhhhh…. up the stairs again ¡¡¡¡¡¡
Sounds like Spooky Spectacular to me ???? The thing was that Rachel’s and Saraa’s Halloween event couldn’t have been more successful since that little huge tent protecting us from the heavy rain was full of little witches, werewolves and bats… We finished so late and we had so much fun that we had to start Thursday’s meeting a little bit later…
On Thursday Rachel was late to chair the meeting (at least she brought the chocolate cupcakes) and James Miguel did not have a clue that he was actually in charge of taking the minutes so it all started fantastically ¡¡¡¡¡
The important meeting revealed some issues about the next team trip, the VPA film and how Steve was catching up quickly and getting involve in some Indiana Jones type of Arquelogy project…. Poor little Towanda had to go since the cold he caught from Liz was getting worse and worse, the good thing was that he offered all his lunch to his good friend and collegue James Miguel, yes a whole dish of pasta with some great chilli salsa bolognesa (I think )
You could not imagine the difference we are making to the wild Summit Railway Nature Site, we are literally starting to put make up on the place now since Rachel and Karen delivered the first country side project, well done ¡¡¡¡¡¡ Fixing and managing the paths, we gave to Summit a safer and nicer entrance making it more attractive for visitors to come and see the wonderful place. Next week will be the Pond, and who knows what other muddy things will turn up…???
Well…. I really could not imagine a better ending for Friday. Funniness was around, nice clothes and Mr alcohol was there too. After all the work done in these weeks we allowed our selves for a team night out. A delightful chines meal was the starter for an endless happy Friday that I personally will not forget…
